I do. Don't LJ from your blackberry. ;)
Yeah, I know. I meant which do you think about with the score now more than the other?
For me it's always the Lone Ranger. I watched it a lot while growing up. Oddly enough, I liked A Clockwork Orange better but don't watch it as often. I suspect that's why no association was made. I prefer V for Vendetta most of the three but usually read it and not watch it. The overture wasn't in the book. :)
V For Vendetta has the 1812 Overture (Tchaikovsky), not William Tell (Rossini).
Ooops! I'm movie deprived at the moment and working from memory...evidently the wrong memory! Thanks!!! :)
For the life of me I can't place the 1812 Overature now...all that plays in my brain is William Tell.
The 1812 Overture was used for the gopher-killing explosions at the end of Caddyshack. Clearly, V for Vendetta copied that great movie. :-)
Obvioiusly! The only thing missing from V was a gopher!
Well, "gopher" is not spelled with a "V" -- that's why it wasn't in V for Vendetta. Maybe if it was spelled "govers". And it's not exactly a detriment. After all, how many movies do we need with gophers? Didn't Caddyshack pretty much say everything that needed to be said about varmints?
I'm seeing new movie in the making, G for Gopher! Just trying to figure out, do I know you? You're posting anonymously so I'm still guessing ;) no big thing just curious
Having to wonder is so fun, I'm going to let you keep doing it. You can pay me later. Maybe I'm an old friend or a new stalker or a little, green alien from Alpha Centauri who has just hacked into you earthling's intertubes and doesn't know you at all. :-)
I have an idea but I can play that game too ;)
I promise to 'fess-up the very next time I see you. ;-)
Yay! Looking forward to it. So when may thatmeeting be expected to happen?:)
You axing me? I've tried. Not happening. It's pretty much up to you, pretty girl.
I've been in LaGrange for the last several weeks; maybe when I get back we can meet for coffee, mysterious stranger (I believe I know...) Classical music was the giveaway! ;)
You only know one person that appreciates classical music?!?! :-)
None so well as one who also happens to play,,,am I right?
Performing anything (music, poetry, play) is the ultimate form of appreciation. As for who I am, I'll only tell when I see your happy, smiling face. :-)
Yup, I got your number though! I'm pretty sure I know who you are mysterious stranger! We've had a lovely afternoon in the park, right?
You should create an account so you can read my many musings and take part in the insanity!
