01:52 am: 5-HTP supplement
I actually found this looking for supplements to help with migraines; it's called 5-HTP. I was surprised when I found it in the diet section of GNC. It's supposed to reduce the frequency and severity of migraines by 50% using 400 mg/day with full effects gained in a few months. It really worked controlling my appetite although I did learn the hard way to build up to 400 mg. I was pukey sick all night.

alicegotherfix, we may live a million miles apart, but we can still give each other moral support--you know, girl power and all that... ;)

I've been taking that for a while to help me sleep. It works for me. No migraines, either, but I never had those. Lost a bit of weight, which is less good. I only take 50mg/day. Probably if I took more, the effects would be more pronounced. St. John's Wort also helps with insomnia (he types at 3:20am :-)
